[59:23] He is the One GOD; there is no other god beside Him. The King, the Most Sacred, the Peace, the Most Faithful, the Supreme, the Almighty, the Most Powerful, the Most Dignified. GOD be glorified; far above having partners.
Peace be upon you, I agree with your blogs message. I am a recent convert to Islam but I feel that many muslims are not practicing correctly. It should be God alone and the Quran alone that we follow, not hadeeth or sunnah. If you agree then we should try to start an organization that promotes these views, it is very important that someone trys to spread the truth about God and the Qursan in a proper way.

Human beings are fond of challenging each other and trying to outwit each other... but in my opinion what I am about to say is what I see as human beings challenging their creater by producing and beleiving in hundreds of hadiths despite God asking them this 45:6 "These are GOD's revelations that we recite to you truthfully. In which Hadith other than GOD and His revelations do they believe?" So what answer have those who uphold the various hadiths given to God ? ofcourse with an affirmative answer i.e we believe in sahihi Bukhari, muslim, Tirmidi and so on.Qur aan is the best hadith (quraan 39:23.)
We are further told in the quraan that these hadiths they uphold are baseless conjecture and guesswork which leads away from the right path (Quraan 6:116.)6:116 "If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of GOD. They follow only conjecture; they only guess"
AS muslims should we not heed our creater and ponder upon His words before it is too late?

As a muslim woman the thought of a a husband beating his wife has always disturbed me and many other women I have talked to, I have always asked myself why , if this is a command from Allah, we (women) cannot accept it.The hadith authors have gone further and said that the prophet (pbuh) hated men who beat their wives, and on one instance told them "anyone of you who beats his wife is not one of us" This I consider a big insult to our prophet for allegedly discouraging men to follow an "aya" in the Quran.We know now that this aya has been mistranslated by men who have been prejudised and preconditioned by culture and traditions of pre islamic days,
Allah says in:30:21 Among His proofs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, in order to have tranquility and contentment with each other, and He placed in your hearts love and care towards your spouses. In this, there are sufficient proofs for people who think. Glorry to Him, does anyone see in this aya anything other than peace , harmony and tranquility? may be only someone with a twistet mind.
Sisters celebrate the Mercy of your Lord, The Quran frees us from schackles placed on our limps and minds by traditions and culture which found its way into islam through hadiths, and made us not know our God given status.
